Protective Cap for ABUS wAppLoxx Pro Knob Cylinder

9,90

The knob module of the wAppLoxx Pro sits exactly where key rings, bags and crates pass by. This cap takes those hits: pushed on in two seconds, no tools, no glue. The knob keeps turning freely and the reader at the front stays clear.

Description

The cap was originally made for our own doors: wherever a wAppLoxx knob sits in a hallway or at a side entrance, it takes knocks, from key rings to beverage crates. The cap wraps around the knob housing as a closed ring and absorbs the hits before they reach the module.

It is made from carbon-fibre reinforced PETG (PETG-CF). The material is far stiffer and more impact resistant than common plastics, stays light and ages well even on busy doors. The surface is matte black with a fine texture; it adds almost nothing and barely shows on the cylinder.

Inside, locating lugs guide the cap onto the housing: push on, click, done. No tools, no glue, removable without residue. The front and the reader stay fully clear and operation does not change.

The edition principle

Every edition has a fixed limit that is set in advance and never moved. The edition card shows the piece number plus signature and month of making. Once the last number is gone, the mould is archived. There are no reprints, not even on request.
